After a hard morning (hi developmental spurt with some not-so-terrific-twos), I figured there was only one way to avoid the afternoon going the same as the morning: get out, get to the zoo.
Stroller-less this time. I just let him wander around. I don’t think he saw more than 2 animals. Instead he found two rocks, and then was endlessly fascinated with a loose floorboard.
Yes, we had a good afternoon.

Will you look at my poor buddy? He had an allergic reaction to something. Eyes all swollen (it actually looks pretty ok on here) and huge bumps and itchy spots on his body. Poor thing :(

Dreams are like the paints of a great artist.
Your dreams are your paints, the world is your canvas.
Believing is the brush that converts your dreams into a masterpiece of reality.

I shot a christening today for a friend – that of course should have been my 365 for today. But I don’t know how she’d feel about having her whole family displayed in my blog, so I wont :-)

Wheels.

I had an “off” day and found myself scrambling during the last minutes of light in the day to get something, anything at all.
This is the Toddler’s current collection of favorite “wheels”.

365. Back.

A casualty of today’s summer-downpour. Almost looks like a precursor of autumn.

(After an exact 2 month break, I think I’ve turned the “corner” again. I’m ready to pick up where I left off. Thanks for the kind inquiries some of you made!
I do have a big backlog of pictures, haven’t been able to keep up with editing, and some days not even with photographing. So I’m just going to jump right back in, starting back up with “131″.)

You think you’re driving your car over daddy’s back, and that he’s pretty cool for allowing it.

In reality, you’re giving him a backrub :D
(In case you’re wondering, yes, husband sprained his ankle last week, no, he doesn’t normally wear a brace)

I got out the “birthing ball”, since the relaxin has kicked in and my pelvis and tailbone are not happy at the moment sitting on a hard wooden chair.
I’m thinking we might need another one though, because Toddler thinks it’s the best thing ever invented: BIG GIANT BALL!!!!!

What to do when the Toddler wakes an hour and a half early and mommy hasn’t quite come to terms with the day yet, despite bathtime and breakfast being over already: hand him a yoghurt.

Take a picture, and realize that you haven’t done his hair yet.

Yawn.
